HelperMate 2.3.11 is now available on Google Play and the App Store. It adds no new feature. It makes task translation more dependable and fixes two screens that did not fit small phones well.

Task Translation on a Busy Day

If your helper reads the app in another language, each task title is translated for them. Three things changed in 2.3.11:

  • Many tasks in one day. Translation used to stop partway when a day had many tasks, and the rest stayed in the original language until the screen was opened again. It now carries on with the remaining tasks.
  • Requests that are turned away. If a translation request is not accepted the first time, the app now waits a little and tries again instead of giving up.
  • No double requests. Home and Schedule both show the same tasks. They used to ask for the same translation at the same time. Now only one request is sent for each task.

Wallet History Header

On the Wallet tab, the line above the list of records has a document icon and a "View all" button. They are meant to sit at the right edge, but on some phones they floated toward the middle. They now sit at the right edge. When a translated title is long, it wraps onto a second line instead of pushing the buttons aside.

Payment Record on Small Phones

On Payment record, the agreed-amount line is shown next to its Set limit button. On a narrow phone with large text, the wording in languages such as Tagalog, Malay and Vietnamese was squeezed into a thin column and broke in the middle of a word. The wording now keeps a readable width, and the button moves to the next line when there is not enough room.
