HelperMate 2.3.7 is now available on Google Play and the App Store. This update makes one thing clear for helpers: telling us which agency placed you, and agreeing to be counted in that agency's summary, are two different choices.
A Separate Checkbox for Agency Summaries
Helpers can tell HelperMate which employment agency placed them. In 2.3.7, a separate checkbox now asks whether your placement may be counted in that agency's anonymous summary — for example, how long helpers placed by that agency stay with their families.
- Choosing an agency on its own no longer counts as agreeing. Only the checkbox does.
- Only totals across many households are counted — never your name, notes or tasks. The agency never receives your records or your employer's.
- A summary for an agency is shown only once at least 10 households count for that agency.
- Leaving the box unticked changes nothing about how the app works for you.
Turn It Off Any Time
You can turn this off at any time in Menu → Edit profile, even if your agency is no longer listed. If you change your agency, the tick is cleared.
Clearer Wording
- The agency question no longer mentions agency statistics; it now simply notes that your employer can see the agency you chose.
- Khmer and Lao screens now show the agency question in their own language.
- The new consent text is available in every app language, shown together with English while the translations are reviewed.
